A zero-JavaScript rebuild of a Dubai creative hub’s site, from Figma to production.

The problem

A creative hub and marketing agency in Al Quoz had a slow WordPress site that no longer matched its brand. The owner wanted the Figma design built exactly, fast, and cheap to run.

What we did

Astro with Tailwind and no client JavaScript bundles. Every page built from the Figma frames, with a responsive audit across seventeen viewport widths. Photography re-sourced from the owner’s camera masters and served pre-sized from a CDN with blur-up placeholders. Video gallery with click-to-play and sequential ambient autoplay, all without a framework.

What changed

  • Five pages live with zero JavaScript bundles.
  • Every image replaced with a higher-resolution master where one existed.
  • Responsive audit: 0 of 85 route and width combinations flagged.
